Ten Reasons that Cybersecurity is Difficult for the Law
to Address
- Prof. Justin (Gus) Hurwitz
Cybersecurity is one of the most important issues we face
today. It is also a particularly hard problem for the law to
address, for reasons that are both good (e.g., they result
from positive attributes of the underlying technology)
and bad (e.g., they result from otherwise problematic
attributes of that technology). This presentation will
consider ten reasons why cybersecurity is a hard problem
for the law, ranging from the good to the bad.
